What is LED?

LEDs (Light Emitting Diodes) are solid light bulbs which are extremely energy-efficient.

This is simply a semiconductor device that converts light into electricity by the movement of electrons. LED was invented in Russia in the 1920's. It was later implemented in the United States in the 1960's by General Electric.

LED Lights

Are great alternative to halogen lamps and CFLs. Higher wattage version of LED lights like 3 watts can be used for normal area lighting and 2 watts for accent lighting.

LED technology is already been used and tested in the automotive industry.
